Slide Plate Screen Changer
- Operates in a full stroke from side to side position in 1ms
- Manufactured from cast steel and tool steel
- H13 through hardened and then lapped for precise finish
- Body is cast steel, which has been x-rayed for porosity
- Seal rings are AMPCO bronze and tool steel
- Breaker plates are a special grade tool steel, and through hardened to match specific applications
- Power units and associated accumulators are oversized and have been designed for long life and easy operation
- Designed to attach to any CROWN single screw or twin screw extruder
- Leak free up to 10,000, psi
